Make sure your home is easy to show!

  By this we mean provide a key to the listing office; make arrangements for any pets when the house is being shown and maintain your home in as neat a condition as possible.  This is often a struggle especially if you have children but unmade beds, toys covering the floors and dishes not cleaned up can be a real turn off to an otherwise nice home.  If possible pack up as much stuff from your closets and garage and store away from your home.   This makes your home look larger and allows the potential buyer to picture their belongings in your home.
